About Gregory Wagner

Photography has taken me places I never imagined.

My professional career began in 1986 when I landed a contract to photograph the Chicago Cubs Fantasy Camp. What started as a single opportunity quickly grew into a career covering the game I have loved my entire life. The Cubs camp led to numerous other baseball assignments, including fantasy camps, tournaments, and special events, allowing me to spend decades documenting America's pastime through my lens.

Along the way, photography opened doors to experiences around the world. I have photographed in more than 30 countries, capturing everything from wildlife on the African plains to remote landscapes, historic places, and everyday life in cultures far different from my own.

Today, while baseball remains an important part of my work, my primary focus has shifted toward fine art wildlife, landscape, and travel photography. My goal is simple: to create images that tell a story, evoke emotion, and encourage viewers to look a little longer.

Based in Fort Myers, Florida, I continue to explore the natural world with camera in hand, seeking those fleeting moments of light, expression, and connection that turn a photograph into something memorable.

Thank you for visiting my portfolio. I hope you enjoy the journey as much as I have enjoyed creating it.
